Important Chromebook Reminders

Some very important reminders about your Chromebook:

1. You may not have your personal Gmail account on the Chromebook. You are only to use your Hoover Gmail account on the Chromebook, which means your 19# Gmail. If you have another Gmail account, you are to use your own personal device to check email etc.

2. You are not to EVER use the Google Hangout feature unless instructed by a teacher.

3. You are not to use the "chat" feature and this includes chatting if you see someone on a textbook! That is considered a chat room and/or hangout.

4. You are never to be signed on as a guest! You have a log in and it's your 19#. Use it!

5. You are never to erase or delete browser history. Remember: If there is reasonable suspicion, then computer history can be retrieved by the Tech Department.

6. Just like a locker, the Chromebook is Hoover school property and can be searched at any time.

7. You are never to play Minecraft or Tanki on the Chromebook. Educational games are allowed if teachers have given you permission. But NO GAMES or YOUTUBE unless the teacher has given you permission.

8.  Photos should NEVER be taken with the Chromebook unless for a school-related projects.

9.  You are not to upload any apps unless directed to do so by a teacher.

10. You must come to school with your Chromebook charged each day!
